Booking Settings
Booking Settings allows account owners and administrators to configure key parameters for managing bookings within Suprata. This section simplifies booking workflows by automating processes like estimate and invoice generation, ensuring consistency and reducing manual effort. It also enables users to define default booking categories and customize the system’s behavior, such as selecting the landing page after creating a new booking. These settings are designed to streamline operations and improve efficiency, aligning with your business needs.
Prerequisites: Account owners and those with administrator access.
Instructions
- From the main Dashboard, click the Administration tab.
- You will enter the Administration Dashboard.
- Click on Job Settings.
- Click Booking Settings from the expanded Job Settings tab to enter the Admin (Booking) Settings page.
- Edit the fields as required:
Set Default Booking to In-Field?: This option determines whether new bookings are automatically categorized as "In-Field" (services performed off-site, at the customer’s location).Autogenerate Estimate on New Bookings: This setting automates the creation of estimates whenever a new booking is added.
Autogenerate Invoice on New Bookings: Similar to the estimate setting, this option allows invoices to be generated automatically when new bookings are made.
Default Landing Page After New Booking: This dropdown menu specifies the page the system redirects users to after a new booking is completed. The available options are:
1 - JOB: Redirect to the job page to manage the newly created job.
2 - DEFAULT ESTIMATE: Redirect to the estimate page to review or modify the automatically generated estimate.
3 - DEFAULT INVOICE: Redirect to the invoice page to handle the generated invoice.
- Once complete, click Save.
- You should then be taken back to the Admin (Booking) Settings page where a green confirmation banner will confirm “Settings Saved”.
