Statement of Accounts

 

The Statement of Accounts page provides a comprehensive overview of account balances, making it easy to track overdue and outstanding amounts for customer accounts. Users can generate, email, or view detailed account statements directly from this page. Filtering options and export functionalities enhance the efficiency of managing and reporting account balances.

 

 

Prerequisites: Authorised Users.

 

 

Instructions

 

 

  1. From the main Dashboard, click the Reporting tab.





  2. Click Statements of Accounts from the dropdown menu to enter the  Statements of Accounts page.





  3. Here you can review the account balances in the table. Key columns include:

    Account Name: Displays the name of the customer account, including the type (e.g., Residential or Commercial). Clickable for quick access to account details.

    Account ID: A unique identifier for the account.

    Past Due: Shows the total overdue amount for the account, highlighting unpaid balances.

    Total Due: Displays the overall balance due for the account, including current and overdue amounts.

    Statement: Provides action buttons for generating, emailing, or viewing the account statement. Icons include:

      • A document icon for generating a PDF statement.
      • An email icon for sending the statement to the account’s contact.
      • A view/edit icon for reviewing or modifying the statement.

    The SOA Tools section in the top-right corner provides additional filtering options for the Statement of Accounts page:

      • All Accounts: This option displays account balances for all customer accounts, regardless of type.
      • Commercial Only: Filters the table to show only accounts categorized as "Commercial," hiding residential or other account types.



  4. To locate specific data, use the Search field in the top-right corner. Enter keywords such as names, dates, amounts, or other relevant terms to quickly filter the results.



  5. You can Copy, Print, and export to PDF, Excel and CSV by clicking on the blue buttons at the bottom of the page.
