Bulk Apply Tax Categories

 

The Bulk Apply Tax Categories feature simplifies the process of assigning or removing tax categories for multiple products or services at once. This tool allows administrators to quickly manage tax settings across their inventory by applying a selected tax category to specific price list categories such as Discount, Product, or Service. This ensures consistency and saves time when managing financial settings for a wide range of items in the system.

 

 

Prerequisites: Account owners and those with administrator access.

 

 

Instructions

 

 

  1. From the main Dashboard, click the Administration tab.





  2. You will enter the Administration Dashboard.





  3. Click on Financial Settings.





  4. Click Tax Categories from the expanded Financial Settings tab to enter the Manage Tax Categories page.





  5. Click the blue Bulk Apply Tax Category button. The Bulk Apply Tax Category to Products popup window will appear.





  6. Click in the Select Tax Category field. This dropdown allows you to choose a tax category to apply or remove. You can select an existing tax category or opt to Remove All Categories if you want to clear tax categories from products.





  7. Click in the Select Pricelist Category field. Select the price list category, the tax category should be applied to, Discount, Product or Service.





  8. Once complete, click the purple OK button.



  9. A confirmation banner will appear.
